On stage, I turn dysfunction into punchlines. In the training room, I help teams actually function.
I offer interactive workshops that build the human skills that matter most in today’s workplace. Using applied improvisation, I help teams develop adaptability, collaboration, creative thinking, and confident communication through experiential learning that creates lasting change. Each session is customized to your team’s needs and challenges.

How I Run Workshops

I design highly interactive, on-your-feet sessions that build practical skills through applied improvisation. Participants practice adaptability, active listening, and collaborative mindsets that translate directly to their work.
Sessions typically start with fast, playful activities to build energy, presence, and trust. Participants then move into pairs and small groups for exercises that connect to real-world scenarios like meetings, client work, and team dynamics. Short collective activities reinforce key principles with the whole group. Teams often create something to present, followed by feedback. We close with concrete takeaways people can apply to their working lives.
My approach centers on building ideas rather than blocking them, listening to understand instead of just responding, and adapting to context. Participants develop flexibility, empathy, and shared ownership through direct experience.
Everything happens through doing. No slides or flipcharts.
Activities are fast-paced and layered, with frequent debriefs in pairs, small groups, and full group settings. I stay responsive to what emerges from each unique group. Chairs sit in a circle for brief reflections, but most of the time people are active and moving.
The skills of an actor are the skills for life.
Participants leave with skills they can use right away and a different way of approaching collaboration and communication in their professional lives.
A Note on Pricing
My rates match industry standards, but I love supporting good causes. I offer flexible options for NGOs, non-profits, and smaller teams, so feel free to get in touch. Email me at hello@abigailpaul.com for more information on setting up a workshop for your organisation.
